My Fight Career

Olympic Trials 2024 for Paris / Competing at the big stage in Canada

After three consecutive losses and serious doubts about where I was headed in boxing, I stepped into the ring at the 2024 Paris Olympic Trials with everything to prove — and nothing to lose. The fight took place at the iconic Olympic Stadium in Montréal, a stage that couldn’t have been bigger or more symbolic.

That night, I delivered the performance of a lifetime. Focused, sharp, and driven by pure heart, I fought like it was my last chance — because in many ways, it felt like it was. The crowd, the lights, the pressure — I used it all. And it worked.

That fight didn’t just change the scorecards — it changed the trajectory of my career. I caught the attention of Team Canada’s Olympic program, and was invited to be part of the Future Potential Team, where I proudly represented Canada for a year.

It was more than a comeback — it was a turning point.

Last Minute Fight

My 6th fight came out of nowhere — literally. A good friend of mine had a last-minute opponent cancellation and texted me, thinking he could take the win. What he didn’t know was that I had already trained that morning, ran 10km, and was running on fumes.

But I showed up.

I made weight on minutes' notice, laced up, and stepped into the ring — drained, but locked in. And despite the exhaustion, I delivered one of the most explosive performances of my career, scoring a second-round KO against a tough, respected opponent.

Sometimes, it’s not about being fresh — it’s about being built different.
