Stop Throwing Weak Crosses! Learn the Pro Technique

The Cross: Boxing’s Power Punch

The cross is a straight rear-hand punch that delivers knockout power. Unfortunately, many beginners throw it incorrectly, losing both speed and strength.

How to Throw a Strong Cross

  1. Start with proper stance and guard.

  2. Rotate your hips and pivot your rear foot.

  3. Keep the punch straight, not looping.

  4. Snap back to guard immediately.

Why Most Crosses Are Weak

  • No hip rotation.

  • Poor balance.

  • Punching with only the arm, not the body.
